MANILA, Philippines – Robin Lopez just took his battles with NBA mascots to a whole new level.
Known for being someone who likes to poke playful fun at opposing teams’ mascots prior to games on the road, the New York Knicks center called on The Force - or, in this case, the Dark Side - to dispatch Bucks mascot Bango prior to the New York-Milwaukee game on Sunday, December 6.
Wielding a red toy lightsaber, which signifies him as a Sith Lord, Lopez was able to out-duel Bango and his blue, Jedi-themed lightsaber quite quickly.
