MANILA, Philippines – Seeking a grand curtain call to conclude 2015, Philippine Wrestling Revolution (PWR) is set to cater a championship clash between current PWR champion “Classical” Bryan Leo and Ralph Imabayashi in the main event of its year-end “Terminus” card on Saturday, December 19 at the iAcademy Auditorium in Makati City.

Imabayashi cemented his status as the No.1 contender for the prestigious PWR championship at PWR Live 2 this past November when he walked away with a pinfall victory in a rubber match against “The Cutthroat” John Sebastian, who is Leo’s “Royal Flush” right hand.
After Leo and his henchmen Sebastian and Main Maxx gave the Filipino-Japanese sensation a beat down following the culmination of the match, Imabayashi had the last laugh at the end of the night when he delivered a jumping cutter to every member of the Royal Flush to aid Jake De Leon and Bombay Suarez against the villainous group.

To compound Leo’s misery, Imabayashi grabbed the PWR title and sat comfortably at the center of the ring while giving the reigning champion a smirk.

Aside from the headlining bout, the sports-entertainment promotion has booked five other matches for PWR Terminus, including the introduction of the “Path of Gold” showcase.
In the aforementioned contest, 8 men will slug it out for a crack at either the PWR championship or the Philippine Hybrid X belt.
Path of Gold will start with two competitors inside the squared-circle, with the 6 other competitors entering the ring one-by-one in a 90-second interval.
The only way to win the match is for one to outlast every counterpart in the ring by either pinfall or submission.
The 8 men vying for the elusive reward are Suarez, De Leon, John Sebastian, Main Maxx, James “Idol” Martinez, Rederick Mahaba, Peter Versoza and SANDATA.
Suarez and De Leon will have double duties at PWR Terminus as they take on Sebastian and Main Maxx in a tag team match.
Former tag team partners Versoza and SANDATA are slated to settle their personal issues with each other in a rematch.
Mark D. Manalo faces The Apocalypse in a Hair vs. Mask all-out war, while Chris Panzer battles Miguel Rosales of Fighters 4 Hire in a No.1 contender’s match for the Malaysia Pro-Wrestling (MyPW) Southeast Asia cross-promotional championship.
PWR Terminus will also feature the return of Stanley Chi’s “The Suplado Show” with the organization’s general manager Mr. Sy as his special guest.
Tickets are available at the iAcademy Auditorium for P400 (VIP) and P350 (Standard) on Saturday. Doors open at 6:00 PM, while opening bell rings at 7:00 p.m. – Rappler.com
