LOS ANGELES, United States – LeBron James just pulled a James Harden.
Known as a premier defender in the NBA, 4-time league MVP LeBron James played like the opposite when his Cleveland Cavaliers faced the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, December 15.
During the first quarter, James was tasked to close out on Jonas Jerebko who was wide open from the corner for a 3-pointer. Jerebko saw James coming but he pump faked a little too early, giving James more than enough leeway to still close out on the shot-taker.
But James opted to turn right instead, leaving his defender all the room and time to shoot as he inexplicably ran down the other end of the court while the opponent’s possession was still going on – a cardinal sin in basketball.

Now, in James' defense, Jerebko did miss the wide open 19-footer. Jerebko's also only just a 36% FG shooter, and has made only 4 out of 15 attempts from downtown this NBA season.
Moreover, James did score 24 points and grab 7 rebounds as the Cavs won, 89-77.
But, come on, LeBron, at least get a hand up. – Rappler.com
