MANILA, Philippines - The Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters earned a comfortable win over the Blackwater Elite, 109-98 , in the 2015-16 PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday, November 25 at Smart-Araneta Coliseum to stay just a game behind the game lead.
Jayson Castro led the Talk 'N Text charge with 26 points on 5-6 shooting from 3-point range to go along with 5 assists. He had much help from the rest of the team as Moala Tautuaa added 16 points and 10 rebounds, Harvey Carey contribued 11 points and 12 rebounds while Troy Rosario added 17 and 8. Larry Fonacier also contribued 16 points.
JP Erram and Carlo Lastimosa each scored 18 for Blackwater in a losing effort.
The win improved the Tropang Texters' record to 4-2 while Blackwater drops to 1-5. Talk 'N Text is now 1 game behind the 5-1 Alaska Aces and San Miguel Beermen.
Blackwater returns to action on November 29 against Globalport while Talk 'N Text can recharge its batteries until December 3 when they face Barako Bull. – Rappler.com
