MANILA, Philippines – The FEU Tamaraws defeated the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 76-74, thanks to a huge put-back, game-winning layup by Mac Belo as time expired to advance to the finals of the UAAP Season 78 senior’s basketball tournament on Saturday, November 21, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The game was tight all throughout, as Ateneo and FEU both went on their own set of rallies to take momentum of the game and exchanged haymakers late in the fourth quarter.
