MANILA, Philippines – Rising NBA superstar Anthony Davis made his lone visit this season to Madison Square Garden on Monday, November 16, in style.
Unfortunately for him and his New Orleans Pelicans, Carmelo Anthony and the home team had the last laugh.
The Knicks (5-6) beat the Pelicans (1-9), 95-87, despite Davis’ 36-point, 11-rebound, and 4-block performance. The former top overall pick also went 14-of-26 from the field, including 2-of-4 from downtown and 6-of-7 from the foul stripe.
