MANILA, Philippines – The rivalry of De La Salle University and Ateneo de Manila University in UAAP basketball turns in another chapter when the Green Archers and Blue Eagles go head to head on Sunday, November 8, at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Both teams are entering the dire matchup knowing victory is crucial in terms of their Final Four aspirations.
For 8-4 Ateneo, beating La Salle keeps their chances at attaining a twice-to-beat seed alive. For the Green Archers, who have lost 3 of their last 4 and stand at 5-6, beating the Blue Eagles will allow them to keep their hold on the fourth seed in the league standings.
In what could potentially be the last ever Ateneo-La Salle game for Kiefer Ravena, he will lead his streaking Blue Eagles against Jeron Teng and a La Salle team desperate for a win. If the last game between both sides is any indication, UAAP fans are in for a treat.
