MANILA, Philippines – Days before the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge in Tehran, Iran, coach Josh Reyes is not quite satisfied with the readiness of Gilas Pilipinas just yet.
With a team comrpised of amateur standouts, Reyes is worried about the potential shock the young cadets may receive when they face 7-foot veterans in opponents that include India and Chinese Taipei.
Despite that, Reyes has faith his players – led by last season's UAAP Finals MVP Mac Belo and former UST star Kevin Ferrer – will rise to the challenge.
