That's the lesson Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier learned during one seventh inning at-bat against the Houston Astros on Saturday, August 27. Kiermaier fouled the ball off his groin and had to be checked on by team assistants. Kiermaier managed to finish the at-bat, grounding out later as the Astros won 6-2.
