MANILA, Philippines – The GlobalPort Batang Pier snapped a 10-game losing streak to the San Miguel Beermen with a 98-92 win on Friday, August 19, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
GlobalPort, which entered the game 1-12 overall against San Miguel, won its second straight game to move up to 2-4 in the Governors’ Cup standings. San Miguel fell to 4-2 and had its own two-game win streak snapped.
Stanley Pringle led GlobalPort in scoring with 25 points and also had 4 assists. Import Michael Glover added 15 points and 15 boards, while Terrence Romeo scored 18 points and dished out 7 dimes.
