MANILA, Philippines - As she gears up for her seventh title defense against former boxer Holly Holm, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey shows her fun side in training camp.
While training at Edmund Tarverdyan’s Glendale Fighting Club in Glendale, California, Rousey dressed up as Pikachu, who is one of the most famous characters in the animated television series Pokémon.
Rousey is known to be a huge Pokémon fan and revealed that she used to be a moderator for a Pokémon forum on GameTalk.com under the handle mew182.
Aside from Pokémon, Rousey is also an avid follower of the Japanese anime Dragon Ball, and was seen wearing the Vegeta character’s shirt at WrestleMania 31 earlier this year.
Rousey faces Holm in the headliner of the UFC 193 pay-per-view event on November 15 (November 14 in US) at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. – Rappler.com
