MANILA, Philippines – The North All-Stars continue to reign supreme over the South, winning the 2016 PBA All-Star Game, 154-151, on Sunday, August 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The North continued their mastery over the South, as they've now won 4 straight All-Star Games against them since 2010. The South All-Stars last won the game in 2008 in overtime.
Alex Cabagnot was named All-Star Game MVP after posting a game-high 29 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

Earlier, Jericho Cruz's team won the Shooting Stars competition against Terrence Romeo's and Scottie Thompson's respective teams.
Each team was tasked to complete a series of shots around the court, including the half-court shot to win.
Meanwhile, women ballers shined in the first-ever women's 5-on-5 exhibition game, where the Light Team prevailed over the Dark Team, 43-35. The game was played in two halves of 12 minutes each.
