MANILA, Philippines - Gabe Norwood of the Gilas Pilipinas knows how to spark the crowd at just the right moment.
The Filipino swingman had a quiet night statistically, scoring 5 points on 2-7 shooting in the Philippines' 2015 FIBA Asia Championship quarterfinal win over Lebanon, 82-70, but was responsible for one of the game's most explosive plays.
With 4 minutes left in the third quarter, Andray Blatche took advantage of the double coverage and found the open man in Norwood, who finished with a two-handed dunk to put Gilas up 12, 48-36.
The Philippines was led primarily by Blatche, who scored 24 and grabbed 17 rebounds, and Jayson Castro who scored 25.
The Philippines will play Japan in the semifinals on Friday, October 2 with a shot at advancing to the finals on the line. – Rappler.com
