MANILA, Philippines – In a do-or-die NBA Finals Game 5, Kevin Love apparently found time to have fun. LeBron James was not having any of it.
Late in the first quarter on Tuesday, June 14, with Golden State jumping to a 19-13 lead, a smiling Love went for a high-five from James after a successful defensive stop by Cleveland, but a visibly upset James left him hanging and shouted at him instead. Love’s smile disappeared instantly as he awkwardly put his hand down.

This would prove to be the only highlight of Love’s performance in the game, as the veteran forward finished with a dismal 2 points and 3 rebounds in 33 minutes of action. James and Kyrie Irving picked up the slack, however, as they combined for 82 points on 33 made field goals. Cleveland successfully saved their season by blowing out the defending champions, 112-97.
The Cavaliers now have a chance to tie the series at 3 games apiece as the finals move back to Cleveland for the final time. Now that’s something Love can smile about. – Rappler.com
