MANILA, Philippines – The Golden State Warriors keep setting new records this season.
The defending champions set a new NBA Finals record of most 3-pointers in a game, burying 17 of them in a big 108-97 Game 4 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, June 10 (Saturday, June 11 in Manila).
Leading the charger was back-to-back NBA MVP Stephen Curry with his 7 treys to breaking his slump and finish with 38 points. He was joined by Splash Brother Klay Thompson with 4 triples for 25 points and Harrison Barnes who also had 4 treys for 14 points.
The Warriors, who recovered from a 30-point beating in Game 3, now return home for Game 5 with a commanding 3-1 lead.
No team has ever climbed out of a 3-1 series deficit to win an NBA Finals.
