MANILA, Philippines – The Golden State Warriors are two wins away from repeating as NBA champions after a blowout of the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2, 110-77, on Sunday, June 5 (Monday morning, June 6 in Manila).
Draymond Green led the charge with 28 points on 5-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson had 18 and 17 points, respectively, with 8 triples between them.
LeBron James led the Cavaliers with 19 points but sat out for majority of the fourth quarter as they absorbed the rout.
The Cavs will try to recover their bearings at home as the best-of-7 series shifts to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4.
