Recently-retired NBA legend Kobe Bryant donned the Ghostbusters gear in favor of a Lakers jersey to shoot a promo for the upcoming reboot, which is set for release in American theaters on July 15, 2016. Bryant gave the Players' Tribune a sneak peak behind the scenes of his shoot, with Tribune writing: "If you thought Kobe Bryant was going to take time off after dropping 60 in his final NBA game — or that he would just fade into retirement — think again."

It's unclear if the 5-time NBA champion will appear in the movie as well, and the New York Daily News reveals that Bryant isn't listed in the movie's credits.
