Nietes (37-1-4, 21 knockouts), from nearby Murcia, is fighting in his home province of Negros Occidental for the first time in 5 years, when he defeated Garcia's twin brother Ramon Garcia for the title he currently holds. Garcia (38-3-1, 23 KOs) has won his last 5 fights.
