MANILA, Philippines – The Cleveland Cavaliers are now one win away from making it to a second straight NBA Finals after a dominant Game 5 victory over the Toronto Raptors, 116-78, on Wednesday, May 25 (Thursday morning, May 26, PH time) at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
The Cavs wasted no time getting off to a hot start, building a 37-19 lead after one quarter which the Raptors could not recover from.
After poor performances in Games 3 and 4 in Toronto, Kevin Love was outstanding in Game 5 with 25 points on 8-of-10 shooting. Kyrie Irving also played well with 23 points while LeBron James was his usual self with 23 points, 8 assists, and 6 boards.
The Raptors’ key guys struggled in Game 5. DeMar DeRozan had only 14 points on 2-of-8 shooting while Kyle Lowry was limited to 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting. – Rappler.com
