Thanks to a creative video game enthusiast with an eye for mod skills, Philippine President-elect Rodrigo Duterte made a surprise cameo in an NBA2K simulation that has gone viral on Facebook.
The long-time Davao City mayor turned commander-in-chief wore Gilas Pilipinas jersey number 30, naturally, as he "punished" the Chinese national team with a crossover move which lends itself well to the Philippines' Dribble-Drive system.
Whether this rematch from the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship final was arranged by direct or bilateral discussions was not established in the video. And while the creator PBA Memes gets credit for the elaborate production, the facial detail of this particular custom Duterte takes the bibingka for accuracy.
