MANILA, Philippines - Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals lived up to its billing as a showdown between two of the most explosive offensive teams in the NBA today.
The Oklahoma City Thunder's dynamic duo, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, turned in 26 and 27 points respectively in a 108-102 win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, May 17 (Manila time) at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.
The Warriors' main guns, reigning two-time MVP Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, showed up to play as well, with 26, 25 and 23 points respectively to their names. Curry also surpassed Reggie Miller's record for most consecutive games with a 3-point make after connecting from long range in his 45th straight postseason game.
