MANILA, Philippines – Following a dominant display in Game 3 of the Commissioner’s Cup Finals, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters are now just one win away from clinching their second franchise title in 4 years.
For the Alaska Aces, it’s a more dire situation. Since taking over as head coach, Alex Compton has made the finals in 4 out of 6 conferences, but with one more loss, his team will end up 0-4 in those series – the Alaska franchise will have to be more patient for championship number 15.
In Game 4 on Friday, May 13, the Elasto Painters go for the kill and aim to bring out the brooms to complete the sweep, while Alaska plays to stay alive in order to keep its dreams of a miracle comeback possible.
