LOS ANGELES, USA - Golden State guard Stephen Curry has been ruled out of Game 3 of the Warriors' NBA playoff series against Portland on Sunday, May 8 (Manila time) as he continues to recover from a knee sprain.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr confirmed on Friday that Curry would miss a fourth straight playoff game after spraining a ligament in his right knee in Game 4 of the Warriors first-round series win over Houston.
Kerr said on "The Dan Patrick Show" radio broadcast on Friday that there was a "slight chance" that Curry could be back on the floor for Game 4 against the Trail Blazers on Monday "if he gets great work in the next few days."

"If he's ready to play, he'll play," Kerr said Friday of Curry. "That's based on what the trainers tell me, and what we see with our own eyes in practice. He hasn't practiced with us yet."
Curry also missed the second and third games of the Houston series due to a sore right ankle. He returned for Game 4, only to slip on a wet spot on the court and hurt his knee.
"He's getting better every day," Kerr said. "But until he's out on the floor with our team and he's scrimmaging and we're seeing him move and our trainers say it's a go, we'll just keep doing what we're doing." – Rappler.com
