Nonito Donaire Jr will make the first defense of his WBO junior featherweight title when he faces Hungarian contender Zsolt Bedak at the Cebu City Sports Center in Cebu City, Philippines on Saturday, April 23.
The 33-year-old Filipino-American Donaire (36-3, 23 knockouts) won the title in a life-or-death brawl with Cesar Juarez in December while Bedak (25-1, 8 KOs) is hoping his second shot at a world title is the charm.
The card will also feature several other exciting fights, including Filipino featherweight Mark Magsayo vs American contender Chris Avalos, Jason Pagara vs Miguel Zamudio, Paul Fleming vs Miguel Angel Gonzalez and more.
