MANILA, Philippines – Import David Simon posted 30 points and 14 rebounds while rookie Troy Rosario finished with 22 points and 5 triples as Tropang TNT defeated Barangay Ginebra, 107-92, on Wednesday, March 30, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
TNT outscored Ginebra 34-19 in the fourth quarter to win the game and improve to 5-4 in the Commissioner’s Cup. Ginebra dropped to the same record.
Moala Tautuaa and Jayson Castro each played well as well with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Ginebra was led by the 29 points and 16 boards of import Othyus Jeffers. Greg Slaughter and Japeth Aguilar had 12 points each, but both couldn’t contain Tropang TNT’s import.
