MANILA, Philippines – The Phoenix Fuel Masters avoided a heartbreaking loss at the end of the regulation and took care of business in overtime to hand the Blackwater Elite its fourth straight loss, 124-120, on Wednesday, March 30, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
Blackwater’s leading scorer Carlo Lastimosa hit an off-balanced 3-pointer with 0.5 seconds to go in regulation to tie the game at 109-all and was fouled, but missed the free throw that could have won the match.

Lastimosa led the Elite with 28 points and 7 rebounds.
