MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) - Bryan Macamay used the boxing ring as a platform to show his support for the presidential campaign of Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday, March 12, wearing "Duterte 2016" on the back of his trunks and "The Punisher" (a nickname he shares with Duterte) on the front.
Unfortunately for Macamay, it was he who ended up getting punished. The 24-year-old from Samar fought a very skillful fight until he was knocked cold by Gilbert Donasales in round 3 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

One right hand to the chin ended the night in dramatic fashion. In boxing and politics, matters can change in the blink of an eye.
Even in defeat, Macamay found a silver lining to it all.
"At least I showed my solid support to Mayor Duterte, even if I lost my fight," Macamay says. – Rappler.com
