MANILA, Philippines – The Minnesota Timberwolves may be out of the NBA playoff picture, but they’re still capable of getting big wins on the road.
That’s what they did on Saturday, March 12, when Minnesota beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 99-96, thanks to a game-winner by point guard Ricky Rubio.

If we’re being honest, there was some luck involved in Rubio’s 3-ball. He’s shooting just 30% from downtown his NBA season, and was in the midst of a rare hot-shooting game where he finished 3-of-6 from deep.
Unfortunately for the now 44-21 Thunder, who are battling the Clippers for the third spot in the Western Conference standings, they caught Rubio on his good day.
Rubio finished the game with 13 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. Minny improved to 21-45. – Rappler.com
