MANILA, Philippines - Steph Curry can hit basketball shots from all the way down. Now we know he can hit golf putts from the parking lot, too.
The reigning NBA Most Valuable Player did the media rounds Wednesday with LPGA no. 1 rated golfer Lydia Ko, taking some practice putts at Golden State Warriors practice. Curry hit the target at the other end of the court with a putt, which means he's probably an epic miniature golf player.
Curry, who played 3 years on his high school golf team says he has a two handicap, admits to "occasionally" daydreaming about golf. He said in an interview with Graham Bensinger that he found himself during a game against the Orlando Magic last season noticing golf legend Bubba Watson at courtside and wondering what it would be like to be in his shoes.
"I was picturing myself, 'What would be like to be Bubba Watson, going to play at the masters and winning, what his life might be like traveling from here to here, playing at the best courses in the world.'"
Curry might be surprised to know that some people dream about being in his Under Armours as well.
