MANILA, Philippines – This rookie continues to make noise.
During the exciting, down-to-the-wire game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers on Monday, February 1 (Tuesday, February 2 in Manila), rookie Myles Turner had his “Welcome to the NBA” moment by denying one of the most athletic players in league history at the rim during a critical juncture of the game.
Turner, the 11th pick of the Pacers in the 2015 NBA Draft, met LeBron James at the summit of his slam dunk attempt and denied the 4-time MVP’s attempt at a game-tying jam.

Cleveland ultimately won the game in overtime, 111-106 with James posting 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists.
