MANILA, Philippines – Facepalm.
Carmelo Anthony got a little creative in trying to defend reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry during the Golden State Warriors' 116-95 drubbing of the New York Knicks on Monday, February 1 (Sunday, January 31 in the US).
As Curry, the NBA's top scorer, was making his move at the perimeter early in the fourth quarter, Anthony put his hand on Curry's head like a child as the Warriors' guard kept dribbling anyway.
It didn't work as Anthony was whistled for a foul and Curry drained the long one-handed shot that did not count.

Curry, who had a quiet night with just 13 points and did not play for much of the fourth, emerged with a scratch, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.
