MANILA, Philippines – After leaping ahead of Larry Bird in his last game, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony passed another NBA legend, Gary Payton, on the NBA’s all-time scoring list during his New York Knicks’ game against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday, January 24.
Anthony, the 31-year-old All-Star, hit a jumper late in the first quarter that put him 30th on the league’s all-time scoring list with 21,814 points.
