MANILA, Philippines - The Cleveland Cavaliers are turning to Pinoy Power to get their Big 3 to the 2016 NBA All-Star Game.
The team released graphics on their Facebook page of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love with Filipino writing asking for the fans to comment below with the #NBAVote and the name of the player. Votes will be collected in multiple ways, including from the traditional NBA.com ballot, plus through text messaging, and social media outlets like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Both LeBron James and Kevin Love have visited the Philippines, while Kyrie Irving has yet to grace the courts/shoe stores of Manila.
The Philippines’ influence on social media is no secret thanks to the almost daily worldwide trending of #AlDub tags. The Golden State Warriors recently thanked their Filipino fans on Facebook, announcing that two million of their page likes come from the 100 million+ nation.
The graphics were likely created with the help of Google Translate, however, with the command “comment mababa” translating to comment is low, instead of “comment sa baba” which means comment below (or at least Jane Bracher told me so).
James was the leading vote getter among Eastern Conference players during the second round of returns announced last week at 636,388, while Kyrie Irving (271,094) was second among Eastern Conference guards behind Dwyane Wade (562,558) and slightly ahead of Toronto Raptor Kyle Lowry (242,276).
Kevin Love was seventh among front court players with 172,517 votes.
The 2016 All-Star Game, the league’s 65th installment, takes place February 14 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, which will be the first All-Star Game held outside of the United States. Another round of balloting updates will be released on Thursday, January 14, according to an NBA press release.
Voting concludes on Monday, January 18 at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time. – Rappler.com
