The Wizards currently own a 14-16 record while Miami stands at 18-13. Both teams are currently on two-game losing skids.
The Wizards are the second NBA team this season to celebrate Filipino Heritage Night.
Back on November 14, the defending champion Golden State Warriors celebrated their eighth annual Filipino Heritage Night in a close overtime win against the Brooklyn Nets, 107-99.
That event featured a halftime performance by the American Center of Philippine Arts and had pre-game tailgate that included popular Filipino food trucks and live entertainment by DJ Romeo.
Moreover, fans who purchased tickets for the game against the Nets received commemorative Warriors “Kampeon” t-shirts.

The Wizards haven’t revealed much information about what will take place during their Filipino Heritage Night.
Per Washington’s official website, all that’s said about the event is that “Filipino culture and heritage will be celebrated at the Wizards vs. Heat game…”
This season, the Wizards are also expected to celebrated French, Canadian, German, Asian, Greek, Italian, Middle Eastern, Turkish, Jewish, Spanish, and Indian heritage nights. – Rappler.com
