MANILA, Philippines - Manny Pacquiao lit up the sky over his native General Santos City, ringing in the New Year with a fireworks display on Thursday, December 31.
The 37-year-old living legend Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 knockouts) shouted out "Happy New Year!" (presumably to his friends in Oceania who were celebrating around that time) as fireworks went off in the background.
The big question that boxing fans have is, will he be able to deliver fireworks in his April 9 clash against WBO welterweight titleholder Timothy Bradley in what will be their third (and he says his own final) fight?
Despite losing a unanimous decision, Pacquiao seems to have much to be grateful for, and much to celebrate. – Rappler.com
